FALL ONE-ACT FESTIVAL TAKES GROVE CITY STAGE |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Fall 2009 Grove City College Tau Alpha Pi One-Act Festival showcases five plays Oct. 1-3. All performances of the student-directed productions will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Pew Fine Arts Center’s Little Theater on campus.
The plays are: “Surprise” by Mark Levine, directed by senior Megan Markley of Skaneateles, N.Y.; “Here We Are” by Dorothy Parker, directed by senior Stephanie Carroll of Marlton, N.J.; “Oh, the Humanity” by Will Eno, directed by senior Palmer Horst of Woodbine, Md.; “The Bully Composition” also by Will Eno, directed by senior Abigail VanPatter of Matthews, N.C., junior Charissa “C.J.” Beatty of Columbus, Ohio, and senior Stephanie Carroll of Marlton, N.J.; and “Relative Strangers” by Shari Wilner, directed by senior LeeAnn Yeckley of Charlottes, N.C., and junior Rebecca Sherman of Avon Lake, Ohio.
The TAP theater honorary is advised by English professor Dr. Janice Brown. The One-Act Festival is coordinated by VanPatter.
Free tickets for the performances are available in the Breen Student Union on campus or can be reserved by e-mailing theatertickets@gcc.edu or calling (724) 458-3331. Be sure to leave name, date of performance and number of tickets needed. Seating is limited, and audience members are encouraged to arrive early. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance.
