Academics
Grove City College is proud to offer state-of-the-art learning capabilities in its classrooms across campus. The majority of classes occur in the Hall of Arts and Letters, Rockwell Hall of Science, Hoyt Hall of Engineering, J. Howard Pew Fine Arts Center and the Physical Learning Center. Several classrooms contain instructional media consoles with VCR and DVD players, television and radio receivers, and inputs for cameras and laptop computers.
The campus is fully-wired, and anyone with a valid user id and password can gain network access. Many classrooms, the TLC and library have data ports and cabling for easy access. Select areas around campus have wireless network capability and plans are in place to continue expansion of the wireless system.
Housing
Grove City College provides single-sexed dormitories that offer beautiful accommodations for residence life. There are six women’s dormitories featuring single, double, triple and quad rooms, and suites. There are also six men’s dormitories with single, double and triple rooms, and suites. Each dorm has its own laundry facilities. Colonial Hall Apartments, which opened in the fall of 2006, is an upper-class, apartment-style residence hall on lower campus.
Dining
Bon Appetit Management Company provides the food service at Grove City College. The meal plan consists of three meals a day, seven days a week. The College provides two dining facilities - Hicks Dining Hall and West Dining Hall. Students may dine at either facility. The Student Union, known as the “Gedunk,” includes a grill/snackbar/pizza oven, which sells items a la carte. Purchases are made using cash or Student ID card. Students can place money in an account so they only need their ID with them to purchase items.
Recreation
Grove City College’s Physical Learning Center offers a wide variety of indoor recreation possibilities. Within the PLC are an eight-lane bowling alley, racquetball and handball courts, an intramural room with four courts for basketball or volleyball, a three-lane elevated indoor running track, two indoor swimming pools, and a fitness room featuring nautilus equipment, aerobic equipment, free weights and more.
Outdoor recreation on campus can be found on tennis courts, basketball courts and an all-weather track on lower campus, two sand volleyball courts on upper campus and intramural fields behind the PLC.
