Bon Appétit Management Company provides the food service at Grove City College. The meal plan consists of three meals a day, seven days a week with an "unlimited seconds" policy. The College provides two dining facilities - Hicks Dining Hall and West Dining Hall. Recently West Dining Hall underwent extensive updates and renovations and Hicks renovations will take place shortly. Students may dine at either facility. The Student Union, fondly known as the "Gedunk," includes a grill/snackbar/pizza oven, which sells items a la carte. Purchases are made using cash or Student ID card. Students can place money in an account so they only need their ID with them to purchase items.
Grove City College values all of its students, regardless of physical or learning challenges. In order to provide reasonable accommodations for specific needs, we invite self-declaration upon acceptance of admissions. Records are confidential and the information is shared with those who need to know for accommodation purposes. Documentation from a physician or certified counselor is required. For more information, contact Mrs. Diana King in Student Life and Learning at 724-458-2700.
For students living in Colonial Hall Apartments, discounted meal options are available. These include a prepaid meal card, customized with a specific number of meals, or a full meal plan consisting of 21 meals per week and comparable to the cost for students in traditional residence halls. The purchase of a meal plan or meal card is not required as residents will have the ability to prepare and cook their own meals.
