Dr. Daniel Dreisbach, American University professor of justice, law and society, examined the Founders’ diverse use of scripture in political discourse in America on Sept. 22 at the American Founders Luncheon, hosted by The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College. The luncheon, “The Founders, the Bible, and Political Discourse,” took place at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh.
Sponsored by the Center and the Pittsburgh Federalist Society, the American Founders Luncheon Series brings to Pittsburgh respected scholars on America’s founding to present talks focused on the beliefs, actions and character of those leaders who pursued a “Great Experiment” in whether humans are capable of governing themselves.
