GROVE CITY, Pa. – The musical group Dallas Brass will conclude the 2007-08 Grove City College Guest Artist Series with an 8 p.m. performance April 21 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on the Grove City College campus.
Dallas Brass is one of America’s foremost musical ensembles. The group has established a unique blend of traditional brass instruments with a full complement of drums and percussion, which creates performances of extraordinary range and musical challenges. The repertoire includes American classical masterpieces, Dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood and patriotic music. The six-member group performs solo and also appears with symphony orchestras across the nation.
Tickets for the Guest Artist Series are available in the Financial Services Office on the second floor of Crawford Hall. Cost is $10 per performance. For ticket information, call (724) 458-2194.
