GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College welcomes three new faculty members for spring and fall 2011.
Dr. Tracy Farone, assistant professor of biology, effective at the beginning of the 2011-12 academic year, stepped into a teaching role this fall at the College. This spring, she will teach a studies course in Zoonosis. Farone earned her B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry from Saint Vincent College, and a D.V.M. from The Ohio State University Veterinary College in 1999.
Dr. Rebecca Harmon, assistant professor of French, effective at the beginning of the 2011-12 academic year, will replace Dr. Catherine Trammell, who is retiring at the conclusion of the academic year. Harmon earned her B.A. in French from Dartmouth College, her M.A. in French Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Princeton University.
Dr. Melva Huebert, associate professor of music, effective immediately, has taught full-time in the Department of Music and Fine Arts since spring 2010. Huebert holds a B.M. and M.M. in Musicology and a Ph.D. in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from Kent State University.
