COLLEGE TO PRESENT SPRING CONCERT |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Concert Band will be presenting the first of two spring concerts this semester on March 11 at 8 p.m. in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus. The performance is free and open to the public.
Wind Ensemble performance selections include “Golden Festival Overture” by James Barnes; “The White Rose March” by John Philip Sousa; “Northwest Fanfare” by Vincent Oppido; and “Sunrise at Angel’s Gate” by Philip Sparke.
Symphonic Concert Band performance selections include “First Suite for Band” by Alfred Reed; “One with the Wind” by Matt Conaway; “The Gateway City March” by Karl L. King; and “Sensei’s Ride on the Cherry Blossom Express” by Robert W. Smith.
The Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Concert Band are under the direction of Dr. Edwin P. Arnold, chair of the department of music and fine arts, director of the Pew Fine Arts Center and professor of music.
