COLLEGE TO PRESENT EIGHTH ANNUAL WINTER JAZZ CONCERT |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Department of Music and Fine Arts presents the eighth annual winter jazz concert Friday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m., in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public, and free parking is available for all attendees.
The College Jazz Ensemble, Stage Band and Singers will perform a number of traditional Christmas tunes and a variety of big band, jazz and seasonal favorites, including “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” “Jingle Bells,” “Joy to the World,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Sleigh Ride” and many more.
The award-winning Grove City College Jazz Ensemble and Stage Band are under the direction of Dr. Joseph M. Pisano ’94, assistant chair of the department of music and fine arts and associate professor of music and fine arts technology, with the vocal ensemble under the direction of Stacy Paparone ’94, instructor of music.
