COLLEGE'S ANNUAL REPORT HONORED WITH AWARD |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College 2007 Annual Report has been honored with a Gold Award from the College and University Public Relations Association of Pennsylvania. The publication, with a theme of “Red Letter Days,” telling the story of Grove City College through its students, faculty and alumni, was recognized in the Print – Annual Reports category.
An awards dinner and ceremony is planned for March 12 in Hershey, Pa., in conjunction with CUPRAP’s annual conference. Senior Director of Communications Amy Clingensmith, a 1996 graduate of the College and coordinator of the Annual Report, will accept the award on the College’s behalf.
Publication of the 2007 Annual Report was a collaborative effort between Grove City College staff members and SWP Agency, a design firm in Minneapolis, Minn. Photography was by Dean Riggott of Riggott Photography in Rochester, Minn.
CUPRAP, The Association of Communicators in Education, received more than 300 entries from colleges, universities and providers of private, specialized and secondary education in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Arkansas. Entries were judged on creativity, marketing execution and impact of the message. Judges represented experts in the field of communications in education and included designers, writers, editors, educators, media professionals and radio and TV executives.
CUPRAP consists of communications professionals from colleges, universities and independent schools dedicated to advancing the understanding of higher education and enhancing the professional development of its members. Members work in public relations, media relations, marketing, publications, sports information, web and graphic design and more. Members come from private and public colleges and universities, junior colleges, community colleges, independent schools, as well as other organizations involved in higher education. Founded in Pennsylvania in 1980 as one of the nations few statewide organizations, CUPRAP members now come from many states. Today, CUPRAP has nearly 400 members from 100 institutions.
