COLLEGE HOSTS CONSERVATIVE CONFERENCE |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College will host the Northeast Conservative High School Conference July 7-10, sponsored by Young America’s Foundation. The conference provides the unique opportunity for high school students to explore conservative thought with many of the movement’s most popular names, brightest minds and respected leaders.
The application deadline is June 18. Interested students should log on here to register. The conference is available for the fee of $375, which includes tuition, materials, food and lodging.
Confirmed speakers for the conference include Dr. Larry Schweikart, national Phi Alpha Theta prizewinner; Patrick X. Coyle, co-editor of “The Conservative Guide to Campus Activism”; Kirby Wilbur, named one of top 100 talk show hosts by Talkers Magazine; Dr. Kiron Skinner, associate professor of international relations and political science at Carnegie Mellon Universiy; Glen Meakem, co-founder and managing director of Meakem Becker Venture Capital; Jonah Goldberg, contributing editor to National Review and founding editor of National Review Online; Dr. Paul Kengor, professor of political science at Grove City College and executive director of the Center for Vision & Values; Kate Obenshain, founder and chairman of a public policy leadership training program for women in Virginia; and Dr. Burt Folsom, Charles Kline Professor of History at Hillsdale College in Michigan.
Young America’s Foundation is an organization that seeks to ensure that young Americans understand and are inspired by the ideas of freedom and values. It is the principal outreach organization of the conservative movement and introduces thousands of American youth to these principles through conferences, seminars, educational materials, internships and speakers.
