COLLEGE EARNS NATIONAL OMICRON DELTA KAPPA HONOR |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College’s Beta Mu Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa has been awarded the 2007-2008 Circle of Distinction award for exceptional performance. It is one of only 18 out of 311 circles nationwide to receive this honor.
ODK recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character of college students. ODK was founded Dec. 3, 1914 at Washington and Lee University by 15 student and faculty leaders. It was the first college honor society of a national scope to give recognition for meritorious leadership and service in extracurricular activities. Membership in ODK is a mark of highest distinction and honor.
Grove City’s Beta Mu Circle, established in 1947, sponsors the Senior Man and Woman of the Year Award and the Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Award, with the College’s Mortar Board chapter. It is under the advisement of Drs. Tim Homan and Gary Smith.
