GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College will present a choral concert at 6:30 p.m. April 29 in Harbison Chapel, featuring the Touring and Chapel choirs and Chamber Singers. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Chapel Choir will perform “Mass in G,” by Franz Schubert, and the Chamber Singers will present various selections. The Touring Choir will perform “Gloria,” by Francis Poulenc, featuring soloist Joanne McFarland, a guest lecturer in music. The Chapel and Touring choirs will combine to perform the “Hallelujah Chorus,” by Ludvig Beethoven.
The Chapel and Touring choirs are directed by Dr. Douglas Browne, professor of music. Dr. Richard Konzen, professor of music and college organist, will accompany on the organ.
