Information for Parents
As integral to the mission of Grove City College, the Career Services Office (CSO) is a bridge between the world of work and the academic environment. We are driven by our mission to encourage students in their realization and pursuit of God’s calling. Our innovative program helps students to identify their talents and abilities during their freshman year and then build a four-year strategy to pursue a satisfying career. We provide excellent service, and superior opportunities for students and alumni in choosing and securing appropriate, rewarding and satisfying careers.
Parents can have a wonderful and positive role in their child's career planning choices. To assist and support your child in the career development process, parents can encourage their son or daughter to take career ownership and actively engage in the four-year strategy. If your child needs helps in identifying their interests and skills, not only is career testing made available free for all freshmen using the Career Direct test, but professional staff are available for individual career consultation appointments.
Jobweb in association with the National Association of College and Employers provides information for parents who want to help their students and graduates find success in their careers.
