OPENHOUSE For a broad overview of the college, many people enjoy attending programs such as our Senior Crimson Days, Junior Crimson Day, or the Engineering, Science, Math/Computer Science Open House. These open house events showcase the campus by providing a thorough overview of the academic, social, and spiritual aspects of the college.
TOUR Our campus tour is a walking information session designed to educate and inform perspective students and their families on topics ranging from our Admissions process, to academics, campus culture, and campus history and tradition. Tours are lead by a student tour guide or an Admissions Counselor, and include many of the main academic, spiritual, social locations on campus. Each tour is both thorough and unique and covers a good portion of the beautiful campus. The tour may also be combined with an interview or question and answer session.
Please call our office to schedule your tour today. (724) 458-2100
INTERVIEW As a part of our holistic admissions process, the interview gives each student the opportunity to highlight his/her accomplishments and involvements in high school, goals for the future, and any other areas of interest with an Admissions Counselor.
Why Interview?
The interview plays a significant role in the selection of the freshman class and is highly recommended for admission, especially for those applicants who live within one day's drive (approximately 8 hours) from our campus. Of this year's enrolled freshman class, 90% interviewed with our office. Therefore, we urge all applicants to interview when they feel prepared to discuss their interests and the nature of their college search.
Notes on the interview and answers to frequently asked questions:
§ The interview, although evaluative in nature, more closely resembles a conversation about the student, his/her desires for college, and what Grove City can offer.
§ We begin interviewing students no earlier than the spring of their Junior year continue until our interview deadlines (listed below).
§ As with all interviews, we recommend dressing to impress. Business casual and Sunday clothes are appropriate.
§ A student may not "re-interview" and therefore, should wait until the appropriate time in his or her college search.
§ Early Decision Applicants must interview no later than December 1 of the candidate’s Senior year.
§ Regular Decision Applicants must interview no later than March 1 of the candidate’s Senior year.
Please call our office to make an appointment for an interview and/or campus tour. (724) 458-2100
