On the dates listed below students are not in session or not following a normal academic week during our Spring 2008 Semester (Jaunary 21, 2008 through May 14, 2008). To be clear, the Office of Admissions is open for visitation on these dates and will readily welcome your visit, but our students may be absent or involved finals.

We encourage prospective students and parents to take advantage of the many opportunities available to visit Grove City College and sample college life on our campus.

For a broad overview of the college, many people enjoy attending programs such as our Senior Crimson Days, Junior Crimson Day, or the Engineering, Science, Math/Computer Science Open House. These open house events showcase the campus by providing a thorough overview of the academic, social, and spiritual aspects of the college.

The most popular visit consists of a personal interview and a campus tour. The interview gives the student the opportunity to share his/her accomplishments and involvements in high school, goals for the future, and any other areas of interest with one of our Admissions Counselors. During this meeting, the admissions representative can also answer any questions the student and his/her family have about the college. This interview is highly recommended for admission and almost required for those applicants who live within one day's drive (approximately 8 hours) from our campus. In last year's enrolled freshman class, almost 90% interviewed with our office. The admissions interview can be followed by an all-inclusive tour of Grove City College 's beautiful campus.

During the academic year, the Admissions Office holds regular weekday hours for interviews and campus tours. During the fall and winter, the Admissions Office is also open one Saturday per  month (8:30AM to 12:30PM)for interviews and campus tours. We prefer to reserve these dates for families traveling from a great distance, but we uphold a "first come first serve" policy for everyone. For high school seniors applying through Early Decision (Postmarked deadline: November 15), you should complete your interview by Thursday, December 1. For high school seniors applying through Regular Decision (Postmarked deadline: February 1), you must complete the admissions interview by Wednesday, March 1. For high school juniors applying for the fall of 2007, the Admissions staff will begin conducting the interviews during the spring.

The interview plays a significant role in the application for admissions. Therefore, we urge all applicants to interview when they feel prepared to thoroughly discuss their interests and the nature of their college search. A student may not "re-interview" and therefore, should wait until the appropriate time in their college search. Prospective seniors may also interview with our Admissions Office throughout the summer before their senior year. Even though the students return home for summer break, our office remains open Monday through Friday.
