GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College professors Drs. Shane Brower and Dorian Yeager have been awarded sabbaticals during the 2008-09 academic year.
Yeager, professor of computer science and mathematics, will take his sabbatical in the fall semester of 2008 to develop a text titled, “Obect-Oriented Programming Languages and Event-Driven Programming,” focusing on a single paradigm and style of interaction in programming languages.
Brower, chairman of the department of physics and associate professor of physics, will take his sabbatical in the spring semester of 2009 to study the optical properties of various thin film metal hydrides.
