BRENNER REELECTED VP OF TRI-BETA |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College Professor of Biology, Dr. Fred J. Brenner, was reelected as vice president of the northeast region of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honorary at the Biennial National Convention.
As vice president, Brenner is responsible for all Beta Beta chapters in the northeastern United States, the largest of six geographic regions in regards to chapters. The northeast division is divided into four districts with each district director reporting to Brenner.
Beta Beta Beta, founded in 1922 at Oklahoma City University, is a society for individuals dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. The society has more than 520 chapters in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Earlier in 2010, Brenner was appointed to the prestigious Public Policy Committee of the American Fisheries Society. Since joining the Grove City College faculty in 1969, he has co-edited 14 books and published a variety of scholarly works.
