GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College Professor of Biology Dr. Fred J. Brenner was recently appointed to the prestigious Public Policy Committee of the American Fisheries Society.
The committee formulates public policy statements on environmental issues such as water quality, fishery management and global climate change, submitted by fisheries biologists from around the world. These statements are then adopted by the membership at annual meetings of the society and published in "Fisheries," the official publication of the American Fisheries Society.
Brenner, since joining the Grove City College faculty in 1969, has co-edited 14 books and published a variety of scholarly works.
