BAND, WIND ENSEMBLE CONCERT MARCH 28 |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Symphonic Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will present the first of two spring concerts at 8 p.m. March 28 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.
The Concert Band will perform a variety of musical selections including “Italian in Algiers,” “Golden Festival Overture,” “The Klaxon March” and “Patriots of Pageantry.” The Wind Ensemble will perform several selections including “Variations on a Korean Folk Song,” “English Folk Song Suite” and “The Glory of the Yankee Navy March.”
Dr. Edwin P. Arnold, professor of music and chairman of the Department of Music and Fine Arts, is the conductor with Dr. Joseph M. Pisano ’94, assistant professor of music and fine arts technology, assisting.
The second spring concert will take place at 8 p.m. May 2 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center.
