AUNTIE ANNE KICKS OFF ENTREPRENEURSHIP SPEAKER SERIES |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College Department of Entrepreneurship’s 2010-2011 Visionary Entrepreneurship Speaker Series kicks off with Anne Beiler, founder of Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and author of “Twist of Faith” at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on “The Overcoming Power of Purpose.” Beiler will also speak in Harbison Chapel at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 14.
Beiler has managed her family pretzel business from a single farmer’s market stand to the world’s largest mall-based pretzel franchise with more than 950 locations worldwide. Beiler is among a select group of women who have founded a national company in America, and one of only a few who have founded an international franchise company.
Beiler has received numerous national awards, including being named one of America’s 500 women entrepreneurs by Working Women and Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine. She has been featured on national television shows such as The Food Network’s “Unwrapped,” “The 700 Club” and “Good Morning America.” Beiler has also been recognized by Fortune Magazine, Guidepost, Nation’s Restaurant News and Christianity Today.
In April 2005, Beiler sold Auntie Anne’s, Inc. She currently shares her story of conquering challenges at youth group meetings, business conferences, university lectures, women’s events and church outreaches.
