A regionally appreciated artist, Williams taught art courses at Grove City College from 1920-1954. The large majority of her known and existing works are originals in oil, watercolors or pastels. She is best known for her traditional college scenes and western Pennsylvania landscapes. Six of her paintings still hang on campus.
Williams studied at Grove City and the Philadelphia College of Design for Women. She also traveled to Europe where she studied at the Fontainebleau in France, as well as privately in Venice, Italy. During her time teaching at Grove City in the 1920s and ’30s, she continued to return to the Parisian art colony each summer. She died in 1957.
