ART EXHIBIT FEATURES WORK BY REGIONAL STUDENTS |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The 18th annual Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV’s Very Special Arts Exhibit will be at the Art Gallery of the Pew Fine Arts Center at Grove City College from March 18 to April 20. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
The exhibit features artworks by special needs students in grades kindergarten through 12 from the 27 school districts in Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties. It is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be closed March 31-April 9 due to Easter break at the College.
An opening reception from 2 to 4 p.m. March 18 is open to the public. Students will receive certificates, T-shirts and programs. For the second year, Ronald McDonald will greet the students and chat about their artwork.
McDonald’s of London, Pa., is a supporter of the program, as is Pennsylvania State Education Association.
VSA Arts (formerly Very Special Arts) is an international nonprofit organization affiliated with the educational programs of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
