Grove City College alumni from the Erie area gathered at the local brew pub, The Brewerie at Union Station for a fun and casual start to their weekend. After a long day at work, more than fifty alumni stopped by to sample some delicious appetizers, compliments of The Alumni Relations Office, and some of The Brewerie’s handcrafted ales.
Besides the opportunity to meet friends old and new, attendees had the chance to tour the facilities and hear about the former train station’s haunted past. Despite the warm breeze on the terrace, more than one alum felt a chill that night. Although, whether that chill came from the impromptu ghost tour or the refreshing beverages being served is difficult to determine.
Representing the college were David Hollenbaugh ’92, Senior Director of Development, Amy Clingensmith ’96, Director of Communications, Elicia (Mack) Winner ’02, Director of Annual Giving and Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, Kelsey (Pollock) Rhea ’06.
