Jack Kennedy Memorial Alumni Achievement Award (JKMAAA)
Starting in 1964, the Alumni Achievement Award has been a time honored Grove City College tradition. The award was originally given in the fields of Education, Professions, Industry, Science and Sports, but that has now been expanded to a varied 34 fields. In 1980, the award was named in honor and memory of longtime Director of Alumni Relations and Career Services Jack Kennedy '37.

Alumni Distinguished Service Award
The Alumni Distinguished Service Award is another high honor. Created in 1999, it was established to recognize an individual who has made a significant contribution to the College through consistent service in exceptional ways. The six recipients of this prestigious award are: Leo M. Stevenson ’34, William J. Mehaffey ’64, Richard G. Jewell ’67, James Schalles ’42, J. Paul Sticht ’39, Louise Slavcoff Baird ’56, Barbara Montgomery Arnold ’60 and Robert W. Smith ’59.
Who is Eligible
All Grove City College graduates are eligible for the JKMAAA. The Distinguished Service Award is open to both graduates and friends of the College. The selection committee reviews all nominations.
How to Nominate
Anyone can nominate an Alumnus for the JKMAAA with a letter of nomination, but submitting complete biographical information is recommended. Resumes, articles, weblinks, etc. are all forms of documentation.
During Homecoming, the recipients are recognized by the Alumni Association. This year’s ceremony, open to the public, is scheduled for Friday, October 8th at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in the Carnegie Alumni Center. Please email or call the Alumni Office if you plan to attend.
