ADVANCEMENT STAFFERS NAMED TO NEW POSTS |

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Vice President for Advancement Jeff Prokovich ’89 recently announced changes for three Grove City College advancement staff members.
Melissa (Trifaro) MacLeod, a 1996 graduate of the College, was named the senior director of alumni and college relations, previously serving as senior director of development. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in marketing/management, Trifaro joined the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, where she worked for eight years in marketing and sales as Corporate and Group Sales Manager. She also served as part-time youth minister for Immaculate Conception Church in Washington, Pa., as well as volunteer president of Destination Greater Pittsburgh. MacLeod is currently an active volunteer with the Homestead United Presbyterian Church youth program and praise band. She joined her alma mater’s staff in 2004 and in her new role will oversee the Alumni Relations and Donor Relations offices. She resides in Pittsburgh, Pa., with her husband, Scott.
Amy Clingensmith, also a 1996 graduate, has been promoted to senior director of communications. She joined the College as director of media relations in 2000 and began leading the Communications Office in 2004. She is responsible for publications such as the alumni magazine and annual report, and the Communications staff oversees all media and press inquiries, advertising, public relations, photography, newsletters and brochures. She has a background in journalism and spent six years as a reporter, page designer and assistant living editor at the New Castle News. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Grove City in business and communications and is completing her master’s degree in professional writing at Slippery Rock University. She resides in New Castle.
Peggy Wolstoncroft will add to her responsibilities with the new title of director of annual giving and prospect research. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Louisiana Tech University and spent eight years teaching. After years of volunteer work, she began her fundraising career at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 1995. She joined the College in 2000 as director of annual giving and in seven years developed that program into a successful campaign called Full Circle with donations totaling more than $1.5 million each year. She and her husband, Ralph, reside in Bridgeville and are the parents of three sons, two of whom are Grove City graduates. They also have one granddaughter.
