The quest of the Grove City College Career Services Office is to continue the college mission by guiding students in their realization and pursuit of God’s calling.

Seeking to be thoroughly integrated into the academic program of the institution, the Career Services Office enhances the educational experience through a four-year program which encompasses the following: self-assessment, career exploration, career decision, and strategic job search. In addition, the Career Services Office is committed to teaching a Christian view of work. This is accomplished by teaching both formally in the classroom and informally through seminars, presentations and in-office student appointments. Strategic job search skills and career management processes are taught in the context of life-long development that progresses through multiple life/work roles. Ultimately, students are encouraged to align their vocational pursuits to a Christian world and life perspective, and thus to their calling. By helping students understand that biblical calling is multi-faceted and much more than just employment, the Career Services Office guides students to finding greater meaning, satisfaction and purpose in their work.
