Alumni and friends of Grove City College gathered for a flashback to the 60's on Halloween night at a Fondue Party prior to the evening performance of Godspell at Pew Fine Arts Center.
Guests dipped into four main dish fondues - from the classic swiss cheese to seafood to pizza and beef with cheddar - then topped the experience with a s'mores combination with graham crackers and an English toffee with fruit slices. The evening was enhanced when the production's director, Dr. James Dixon, stopped in with his wife, Dr. Diane Dixon, and offered a little background to the guests on the production as well as the play's local origins. (The composer and author were both students at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh when Godspell was written.)
Representing the College was Charlene (Griffin '83) Shaw, Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Events.
